Onakoya Oluwatunmise

Oluwatunmise is a Chartered Accountant and currently serves as a Senior Manager in one of the leading financial advisory and consulting firms in Nigeria. She has over 12 years of experience in audit, accounting system implementation, International Financial Reporting Standards, Office management, etc. Oluwatunmise started her career at Bode Ogunleye & Co where she worked and gained experience in audit and tax before leaving the firm as Audit Senior to join her current firm. Oluwatunmise’s experience at Bode Ogunleye and Co included serving as a senior on engagements, preparation of tax filings and responding to tax queries, developing policy manuals, and general office management. She joined her current firm as an Office Manager where she was responsible for the general practice management and administration. She was later moved to the main practice where she has worked since 2014. She has been involved in different projects for clients in the areas of ERP implementation, accounting, audit, and process review. She has been involved in more than 50 ERP Software implementations for clients in oil and gas, manufacturing, logistics, technology, etc. She is a Sage 200 and 300 Certified professional and is very knowledgeable in system implementation and change management. She has also been involved in several process design and review projects, financial due diligence, clients’ financial controller (secondment), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and audit. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, a taxation technician (CITN), a MINI-MBA holder from Tekedia Institute, a Sage Certified LU1 to LU6 holder. She also holds a Certificate in IFRS from ACCA Global, a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, and is currently undergoing her Masters in Finance from the prestigious University of Lagos.
